The Crown Professional Training Institute's Professional Barber Training Course is designed to equip participants with the techniques and skills necessary to excel in all styles and trends. The barbering profession is experiencing a resurgence reminiscent of the early decades of the last century, characterized by distinctive decor, materials, and haircutting techniques.

This course targets individuals looking to embark on a career in the beauty industry and anyone with a passion or inclination towards male hairstyling.

Prerequisites include a minimum age of 18 years (parental consent required for minors) and a ninth-grade education or equivalent qualification.


 

The goal is for trainees to acquire the following skills upon completing the course:

  • Proficiency in fundamental work techniques and comprehensive understanding of theoretical and practical aspects in men's hair beauty.
  • Application of health and safety regulations.
  • Conducting diagnostic assessments on hair.
  • Providing tailored advice on appropriate products and treatments for hair and scalp.
  • Identifying hair and scalp diseases and disorders.
  • Executing hair transformation and image enhancement.

Module 1 - Theoretical Foundations and Culture of Traditional Barbering

Module 2 - Health, Hygiene, and Safety Standards in Barbershops (Biosafety)

Module 3 - Fundamentals of Trichology (Hair, Skin, and Beard)

Module 4 - Basics of Cosmetology (Hair, Scalp, and Beard Care Products)

Module 5 - Understanding and Handling Barbershop Tools

Module 6 - Diagnosis and Consultation Techniques in Barbershops

Module 7 - Art of Barbering – Practical Cutting Techniques

Module 8 - Traditional Techniques for Beard Grooming

Module 9 - Fundamentals of Color Theory and Bleaching

Module 10 - Advanced Coloring and Bleaching Techniques

Module 11 - Personal Image, Communication, and Sales Techniques in Barbershops

Module 12 - Contemporary Men's Haircutting and Styling Techniques

Module 13 - Entrepreneurship (Concepts, Identifying Opportunities, and Business Planning)

Module 14 - Classic Techniques in Traditional Barbering

* The practical component requires specific materials for training (kit). The list of materials provided by Crown Professional Training Institute or mandatory acquisition by trainees will be provided by the pedagogical coordination.

The use of human models is optional and may incur additional costs. Trainees are responsible for arranging their own models; however, Crown Professional Training Institute is committed to assisting in the recruitment of models through its social and community networks. Please note that model availability cannot be guaranteed for scheduled sessions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking Procedure

Minimum age is 18.
After receiving this form duly filled and a deposit of €100, CPTI will confirm the booking. only after confirmation of registration form students will be able to start paying courses fees.
Confirmation letters for visa purposes require a deposit of €1.000,00

Changes of Program

If only one student is placed at a given level the course will be
replaced as follows:
Group 3 lessons/day---> Individual 2 lessons/day
Workshop 2 lessons/day---> Individual 1 lesson/day

IMPORTANT NOTICE

On Public Holidays Group and Group+Workshop Course lessons will not take place and will not be recovered. Individual Courses lessons will take place or will be recovered.

Payments

Final payment of courses and other services must be done before start of the course, in cash, by bank transfer or Visa/Mastercard.
When paying by bank transfer, please send a copy of the Bank Transfer Form stating name of student, course dates and location.

Cancellation Fees

Prior to 2 weeks of starting date: no cancellation fee From 2 weeks to prior Friday: €150,00 No show/after arrival: 1 week of course + 1 week accommodation

Missed Lessons/Minimum Attendance

Missed group lessons cannot be recovered or refunded. Individual lessons can be rescheduled with 24h notice.
Students must achieve a minimum of 80% attendance to be eligible to sit for the end- of-level test.

Insurance

CPTI will not accept any liability for loss, damage or injury of any kind, incurred in whatever way. Students are invited to take out comprehensive personal insurance (health and liability).

CPTI's Course Fees Include

Tuition. Assessment test. Internet access. Teaching materials Grading and final tests. Audiovisual and multimedia facilities Certificate/Diploma. Cultural and extra-curricular activities (except for dinners)
